Shady Lane Family Farm is a second generation farm with 4 greenhouses in production for vegetable, herb, and ornamental plants. We also have 1 greenhouse in early strawberries, 1 in early tomatoes, and another in hydroponic lettuce. We endeavor to show real beauty in our ornamentals and healthy practices in our vegetable operation.

Special Programming: We will be showing what we do in the greenhouse and how we grow plants and vegetables. We will be doing a 60-90 minute tour at 10:30 and again at 2:00.

Directions: From Charlottesville, take Barracks road west for 4-1/2 miles, turn right and follow 601 (Free Union Road) for 11 miles. In Boonesville turn right and follow 810 for 1-1/2 miles, turn left onto 628 and continue for 1-1/2 miles, turn right onto 614 (Broken Back Mountain) and farm is on the left. Parking is at the greenhouse.
